The Oxford Monopoly Pub Challenge Event - 2022
This years Monopoly Pub Challenge Event took place on Saturday 17th September, the first pub was The Dew Drop in Summertown, meeting at 12:00. ‘Just’ 17 pubs this year, mainly, getting old and also because late in the year, getting dark.
The Lamb and Flag was still closed, so we went to the White Horse, Broad Street instead. The Turf Tavern, as nice as it is, was a 20 minute queue, so we decided to give it a miss. Also missed out the White House, no time, too far to walk.
During the day we will be celebrating the life of our dearly departed Queen, Elizabeth II and raising a toast to our new King, Charles III.
