The Oxford Monopoly Pub Challenge Event - 2016
The 2016 event was based on a postcard issued by the Shotover Brewing Company
and took take place on Saturday 11th June.
We all starting at the The Crown Cornmarket, Oxford just before 11:00 to have a ‘quick pint’ before the official start.
The postcard (Thanks to Mel and Darron for sending me this) features 27 pubs in and around the centre of Oxford, St. Clements, Cowley Road and Jericho.
But in the interest of surviving the day upright and time constrains we actually visited 22 pubs, adding The Star to the original list and substituting the St. Aldates Tavern for the Head of the River.
