The Oxford Monopoly Pub Challenge Event - 2011
The 2011 Event took place on Saturday 10th September.
We all meet at The Plough, Wolvercote at around 11:00. The weather was due to be changeable, but was actually quite good, bit of rain around Jericho, otherwise fairly sunny.
There had been a few changes of pubs visited and to the route from last year. Also some changes on the day.
Apparently The Cricketers Arms in the Iffley Road had closed around a month ago, so we went to The Chester Arms, in Chester Street, just of the Iffley Road.
And by ‘popular demand’, The Bear was visited instead of The St. Aldates Tavern, better beer.
